Algunos de los beneficios de la OHB en el tratamiento de la anemia o pérdida de sangre aguda pueden incluir:

LA TERAPIA HIPERBÁRICA pARA EL TRATAMIENTO DE ANEMIA

La oxigenoterapia hiperbárica (OHB) es una terapia que puede ayudar a las personas con anemia severa cuando no pueden recibir transfusiones de sangre o eligen no hacerlo por razones médicas o religiosas. En la anemia severa, la sangre no transporta suficiente oxígeno, lo que puede causar problemas graves.

La OHB implica respirar oxígeno puro bajo presión en una cámara especial. Esto aumenta la cantidad de oxígeno que la sangre puede llevar. Ayuda a rectificar la falta de oxígeno y mejora la entrega de oxígeno al corazón y al cerebro, que son órganos que necesitan mucho oxígeno.

Estudios en animales y pacientes han respaldado su eficacia. Se considera una opción de tratamiento cuando la transfusión de sangre no es posible.
